India train & toilet - "Sleeper Class" (4th classs)

India train & toilet - "Sleeper Class" (4th classs) Video Clips. Duration : 1.32 Mins.

This is my typical mode of long distance travel in India, as it is for most of the Indian middle class. This shows the "Sleeper Class" accommodations on the "Shiv Ganga" from Varanasi to New Delhi, which is usually about a 12 hour journey overnight. This costs about 321 Rupees (about .23)each way. After 9:00 pm, the back rest of the bench seating flips up to become the middle tier of the three tier sleeping "births." I chain and lock my suitcase to the underside of the bottom bench overnight. I always try to book/reserve the upper birth so I can still rest if the others in my "bogie" decide to stay up late sitting on the lower bench and talking or something.
