How do Japanese people stay warm in the winter? It's actually already spring in Japan according to their traditional calendar, and it's still February! Even though the temperature doesn't get as low as my hometown it feels colder in Japan because of poor housing construction and somewhat insufficient heating methods. They do have kotatsu, though, which is probably the best heating invention ever. And I forgot to mention it in the video but they have heated toilet seats!! Yes!!
